Pain in the

So, I’m watching the Carolina Panthers and the New York Giants play in the playoff game… and Kael walks into the room, walks over to the TV, points at one guy on the screen and says:

“That guy is a pain in the Ass”

And then walks away… Of course.. I burst out laughing.. so he goes back and does it again, and again.. and eventually, it turns into the entire Panthers team being a pain in the ass…

Crazy Kid..

Cool Idea

I get quite a bit of email from companies I’ve entered a contest with, registered a product with, etc… normally, I delete them without reading them. Yesterday though, I got one from M&M (you know, the melt in your mouth not in your hand candy?)

I’m taking the time to mention this ad in particular, because I think M&M has got a good idea… you can order custom M&Ms! Here’s the example they had in the email:

Val Nooffer Anim

Its an animated gif, so hopefully just copying and pasting it will work… here’s the link to their store for the customization if you want to look more.

edit: apparently, the animated GIF won’t just copy and paste… oh well.. follow the link to the store to see them..

Dreamhost Love

I’m really liking my decision to go with Dreamhost… it just keeps getting better and better..

I get an email from them today.. telling me that they have (again), increased both the disk space, and monthly bandwidth for my hosting plan.

My ‘old’ starting disk space was 4800MB… new starting disk space? 20GB! Yeah.. they went from a little over 4.5 gigs of disk space (on the starting, low end account) to 20 gigs of space.. Sweet…

But it gets better!

My ‘old’ starting bandwidth per month? 120 Gigs.. my new starting bandwidth? 1 Terabyte!

Double sweet!

I keep saying starting space/bandwidth.. because those folks over at Dreamhost keep bumping my space bandwidth.. each week that I’m a customer my bandwidth goes up by 8 Gigs, and the disk space goes up by uhh.. I think its 80 MB a week…

Quick.. go sign up!

Happy Chanukah (late)

This past sunday was the last night of Chanukah. This year, we let Kael light the candles in the menorah.

yes..we let the two year old play with fire….what could possibly go wrong?

After saying the blessing, and lighting the candles, Kael would sing “Chanukah, Oh Chanukah” (or “We wish you a Merry Christmas”..depending on his mood)

“I like Cheerleaders”

The whole conversation, while watching the Broncos stomp all over the Chargers yesterday was this:

Kael: “Are those cheerleaders Daddy?”

Me: “Yes buddy, those are cheerleaders.”

Kael: “mmmmm… I like cheerleaders.”

Kid has good taste, the Chargers do have good looking Cheerleaders…
