Which really raises the question… how slow of a news day is it? They couldn’t have talked about Bush trying to rape the constitution? The group of Scientists who want the government to increase NASA’s funding so they can start planning on how block an asteroid from ramming into the Earth? Eminem suing Apple because some kid sung his song in one of the iPod commercials? Clinton Portis being traded to Washington? The end of Fox’s ‘My fat obnoxious Fiance’ series?

Apparently not.. its much better to provide couples with ways of hiding their affairs from each other…. (And some of their advice just looks like you’d be begging to get caught if you were to follow it!)

By now… you’ve heard about it…. 183 million or so people saw Janet Jackson’s boob on TV during the half-time show of the SuperBowl on Sunday.

And as usual, since the American media, government, and a good portion of the population are prudes with their heads up their Asses… they are acting like the sight of a boob is the most horrible thing they’ve ever seen… and media in the rest of the world is laughing at the US

I mean.. c’mon people… its a fucking breast… its not like Janet and Justin took off all their clothes and started having sex during the half time show… if the sight of a woman’s breast offends you do you keep your clothes on all the time (if you’re a woman) or make your wife/girlfriend/whatever keep her clothes on all the time (if you’re a man)????

I know people’s response is going to be “it was inappropriate for kids” As a parent… I don’t think it was… why on earth would you want to teach your kids that the body is something to be ashamed of and kept hidden? I could have sworn that the puritan mentality died in the Salem witch hunt. Don’t we have more important things to teach our kids? things like oh.. reading, writing, arithmetic, good grammar, proper english, why canadians on South Park have flappy heads? If seeing an attractive female breast is the worse thing that ever happens to your kid…consider yourself lucky.

I think Janet should have borrowed the words for her apology from a song by Suicidal Tendancies:

“I’m sorry if I offended you, but maybe you needed to be offended, so here’s my apology, and one more thing….FUCK YOU!!!!” (I’m going from memory…so that might not be the exact line…but you get the idea)

Pixar is looking for a new distributor for their films…

I guess they spent the last 7 or 8 months trying to negotiate a new deal with Disney.. and couldn’t come to an agreement. From what I’ve read, Pixar was looking for a better deal financially (and rightly so, Pixar releases are the only ‘blockbuster’ movies Disney has had for years…) and Disney didn’t want to change the deal…

Now…if I only had a few million bucks laying around, I could start up my own movie distribution house and negotiate a good deal with Pixar…. to bad…

Oh where to start… do I talk about Britney’s marriage to some guy she went to school with? The Mars Rover? The Europeans’ still missing Mars craft?

Let’s start with the dumbass down in Florida (click here ) who not only shook her baby (causing Shaken Baby syndrome, cranial bleeding, and eventually death).. but since apparently that wasn’t enough for her.. she also BIT her 10 month old baby on the back, leaving visible bite marks. Then she can’t even keep her story straight to the cops, she apparently thought she had a boyfriend who abused the baby, and then seems to have remembered that she isn’t actually dating anyone. Lock her up, toss the key!

So… that brings us to space exploration! In case you missed it… late last week the European Space Agency landed a rover on Mars…and lost it sometime after it entered the atmosphere.. to date, no attempts to contact it have been successful including a couple of attempts from NASA’s Mars ships (en route to Mars at the time) to pickup the missing rover (Beagle 2) signals as Beagle’s landing site was flown over. Yesterday, our rover landed and today it made contact with us, sending it first pictures. A few days ago, we sent a probe into the tail of a comet to grab a handful of meteor dust so space programs everywhere are busy….maybe we’ll end up back on the moon soon.

and of course…Britney Spears tied the knot early this morning to a childhood friend….of course the article states that she’s going to have the wedding annulled, and mentions rumors of her being so drunk that she couldn’t walk…. wonder if she had a chance to consummate her marriage before she passed out into a drunken stupor?

Definitely a “good thing” for US forces in Iraq… with any luck, the terrorist strikes on our forces over there will cease now that we’ve got Chief Bad Guy # 1 tucked up in a cave some where…

Seems some folks in Malaysia have decided that Micro$oft’s still in development “Longhorn” version of windows (originally scheduled for release in like ’04, now scheduled for ’06 if M$ is lucky). For 6 ringgit, which works out to less then 2 dollars (about $1.58) in US currency… close to what Windows is actually worth..but still over priced by about a $1.57 if you ask me!

A sure sign that people are insane on the day after Thanksgiving…

Trampling an old lady just to save 20 bucks on a DVD player? I’m all for saving money, and getting a good deal. But you know what? Not even stopping to help a lady avoid getting trampled by a bunch of insane consumers has got to be an all time low. Especially when you consider that the stuff on sale in the ads for friday was the exact same stuff that all these places have had on sale for the last 2 months.. and will probably have on sale for the next 2 months… no real huge deals.. and definitely nothing worth getting trampled for!
