New Chair

Now that Ms. M is eating ‘real’ food (if you can call the stuff they put in those packages of baby food real), she needed her own chair to join us at the dinner table.

There is a baby in that high chair… really.. I promise.. you just have to look real hard to see her….

Mother’s Day!

u kmmmmm’;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; xz;l;fsdgwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwdk ffkkoooofvfrrltrltle3leldld;v.ro

What Kael and Maryn are trying to say, is:

“Thanks for being our Mommy, we wouldn’t want to have anyone else…you’re a great Mommy!”

Real Food!

err… kinda… if by “real food” you mean “breast milk from a spoon, with just enough rice cereal added to stop it from falling off the spoon.”

Anyway you look at it Maryn got fed her first “real food” on Sunday… of course.. her big brother had to be the one to feed her..

obviously, the first attempt missed the mark.. as Maryn can’t eat through her nose..but.. his aim improved later and he was able to feed her till she stopped eating.. and, she almost appears to enjoy her cereal.

Price Fixing

Yeah.. and the oil/gas industry says there’s no price fixing going on..thats why a gas station in South Carolina is suing another gas station for…. wait for it…. setting its gas price to low!

Really.. I couldn’t make this one up… here’s the link to the SC TV station’s article about it..

4 Month Checkup

We took Maryn in for her 4 month checkup this morning. Her vital stats today were:

11 lbs 12.5 oz, 24 3/4 inches, and 41cm head. So..she is a healthy, teeny, tiny girl. Her weight puts her in the 10th percentile, which means that like 90% of the kids in the USA at her age, are heavier then she is. Height was a little better… she is in the 25th percentile there..and her head size, puts her slightly above average in the 51st percentile.

Teeny…Tiny…

1st Passover

Yesterday we took Maryn to her first Passover Seder. Unlike her big brother’s first Passover… Maryn wasn’t old enough to eat anything.. so, for her.. it was pretty much like any other dinner.. she sat there and watched us eat, getting passed around from person to person..

Next year though..she’ll be old enough to eat some of everything!

Domestic Violence Done Right

Now.. if you’re going to have the cops called to your house for a Domestic Dispute (that is the politically correct term for it now isn’t it?) make sure you do it right… take for example these folks.

There argument probably started like any other.. not enough money, not enough sex, your sleeping with my sister.. you know, that kind of thing. Not satisfied with just calling each other names, they started throwing stuff… like knives. When that didn’t satisfy them, they started shooting at each other (apparently, neither is a good shot)..after that proved unsuccessful in ending the argument.. they started throwing home-made bombs at each other… and blew up their house.

Now THAT is how you have a fight with your spouse!

My favorite quote from the article:

Mr Espinosa told reporters he was glad his wife had suffered burns, while Ms Contreras said said she was only sorry she had not “hacked off his manhood” during the fight.
